Google China piece: Correction
I'd like to correct a statement I made last week: "In response, Chinese government officials quickly addressed the problem by censoring Google Hong Kong." @kaiserkuo has brought to my attention that "Google never actually provided "uncensored" search results except in the very strict sense that they were no longer doing the censoring themselves." It was Google's act of not abiding to Chinese censorship laws that incited such an overreaction from the Chinese government. Read the rest of the piece below if you haven't already..
